Where it Happens
Old Bison Ranch is located 15 miles south of historic Waxahachie just off I35-E.ﾠ Beautiful rolling pastureland, natural spring-fed ponds, and groves of pecan trees create the perfect venue for a rustic, elegant wedding in the country. The sunsets at Old Bison provide a romantic ambience that cannot be matched.
March of 2017, Old Bison Ranch will open its new 6,000 square-foot celebration hall. Complete with romantic lighting, air conditioning and heat, this enclosed area has the feel of the outdoors with viewing windows overlooking the pecan groves and lake. The new celebration hall will accommodate seating for up to 300 guests and has a full kitchen.
The shaded area nestled adjacent to the pavilion, can be used for buffet lines, food stations, cake serving, or additional seating for celebrations with more than 300 people.
A new Bridal Cabin has been added giving both brides and grooms and their attendants a place to gather and prepare for the celebrations. The Bridal Cabin hosts makeup stations and individual storage space. The Groom’s Cabin has a TV and kitchen.
